The gorge is located about 5 km southwest of Ermioni village. It is an impressive spot with a chapel (at its entrance) dedicated to St Nicolas which was built in 1740. The old small bridge leads through a beautiful scenic walking route, full of pine & oak trees, to Fourni village where there is a nice church and a drinkable water spring. It takes about 30 minutes and then you need to make your way back again.
If walking is your thing, you can also walk to the gorge or just drive there and leave the car at the entrance to continue the walk through it. Our credits for the nice video to “ΠΡΩΤΟΒΟΥΛΙΑ ΕΝΕΡΓΩΝ ΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ ΕΡΜΙΟΝΗΣ”.
