Epidaurus Ancient Theater

Only 35 minutes away from Ermioni, the ancient theatre of Epidaurus is situated in a beautiful green area where the pine trees are dominant. The ancient theatre of Epidaurus is built in 400 BC. The theatre is known for its perfect acoustics. The “Epidavria” festival of ancient Greek drama is organized every summer with great success. The site includes a museum with very interesting themes such as Asclepius (the mythological god of healing) and ruins of the temple of Apollo, the god of musicians and poets.
